Every summer, communities all over the United States hold fairs with games and rides and every imaginable food served in a deep fried form.  The sounds are unmistakable.  The people watching has little rival.

Last week at the Arlington County Fair, the America was strong:

Those were your prize choices at the strength tester game, one of many at this particular fair for which there was no possible way to lose.  I’m happy to report that someone from my group made the correct choice here.  At a nearby water gun target game, I won my new friend Max:

And the sunset was even coordinated for the event:

But the thing we looked forward to the most involved hooves and an elaborate fencing setup.  Hopefully the video does it justice:
